Walking

There are many beautiful walks and trails around Macclesfield Forest and the Reservoirs.
Some of the walks are a lot longer than others. There is something for all levels  of ability and the routes will guide you through some of Cheshire's most stunning scenery with spectacular views.  This wonderful landscape is both charming and captivating  throughout every season of the year.
The area is also host to a variety of birds and wildlife. There are bird hides along the routes for keen birdwatchers and don't be surprised if you run into a stag!!
The linked map below shows many of the walks and the ranger station just along the lane from us, has lots of leaflets and more information.
